The conditions apply in the event that no other written agreements have been entered into between you as the buyer and byjakob.com

Delivery time and transport

Delivery of goods from byjakob.com is deemed to have taken place when the consumer has received the goods. The shipment of goods takes place through https://www.gelato.com which fulfills the order from the nearest fulfillment center. With a network of over 130 production hubs in 32 countries, Gelato offers a localized approach to printing and fulfillment.

Gelato aims to always produce locally or close-by. This will also mean that possible custom fees might apply for you as a customer. For any problems with this, please contact us on byjakobphotography@gmail.com

Prices

All prices at byjakob.com - at the web address https://byjakob.com/ - are without VAT. VAT will be added at checkout and will vary depending on your country. Delivery is free and only within EU. Any orders made where address is outside of EU will not be completed. If it happens, and the product is printed before cancelling the order, you the customer is responsible for this cost and will not be refunded the full payment as cost of production will be deducted.

The prices are in euro, where nothing else is mentioned. Prices are daily prices and may change without further notice.

Reservations are made for any errors in prices, typos, etc. Is a product sold where a possible error, an incorrect price has been entered, byjakob.com has the full right to refuse that the order goes through, as this will be due to an input error.

We answer all inquiries on weekdays from 9 am to 9 pm.

In addition, we have a 24-hour processing time.

Delivery

Upon delivery of your item(s), your parcel is delivered to a parcel shop near you.

Delivery time 3-10 working days from placing the order at byjakob.com. Usually this is faster since Gelato aims to produce and deliver locally.

The delivery time can be extended by 1-3 working days, for orders on special days such as Black Friday, Black Weekend, Cyber ​​Monday, Cyber ​​Week etc.

While we make every effort to provide accurate estimations, please note that the provided delivery dates are indicative and not absolute guarantees. Delivery times might vary in situations involving large orders, complex formats, certain delivery locations, or special circumstances.

If the customer does not pick up their parcel in the parcel shop within 7 days, after delivery the parcel will be returned to us. We charge the customer the possible return costs to cover the double shipping costs, as well as the costs of finding the item and unpacking it. The money is refunded within up to 10 working days after receiving it again.

The risk of the goods

The risk for goods purchased from byjakob.com passes to you as a consumer at the time of delivery.

Errors or omissions

Any errors or deficiencies in delivery from byjakob.com must be claimed within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error - however within 3 working days. It is your duty to indicate and, on request, show how the error or deficiency manifests itself. If you discover an error, you must contact byjakob.com quickly - but within 3 working days. This must be done in writing by sending an email to byjakobphotography@gmail.com with pictures of the error as well as a thorough description of your order number as well as your name and a contact number.

Payment

We use Stripe for payments.

At byjakob.com you can order your goods online and pay with Visa Card, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and China UnionPay.

The amount is only debited to your card when the goods are sent from our printing partner gelato.com

NB: We do not accept consumer association cards.

Return

As a customer of byjakob.com, you have a 14-day right of return.

When returning your package, you must pay for the package label yourself. We generate the label for you as soon as you have filled out the return form. If you wish to buy this yourself, let us know. Furthermore, it is required that you send it back in the same package. This includes the cardboard box and the tube that the poster is kept in. If any extra charges comes up because of other dimensions that we were not aware of, you, the customer, are responsible for the costs and it will be deducted from the total amount refunded.

If you wish to return a purchase from byjakob.com, you must send your order back to us without undue delay and within 14 days of receipt. You are obliged to return the item in substantially the same condition and quantity as it was received. The money is refunded within up to 5-10 working days after received.

You must bear the costs associated with returning the item to byjakob.com yourself. You bear the risk that byjakob.com receives your returned goods in good condition. In case of defects and depreciation upon receipt of your returned goods, byjakob.com can set off a possible loss. Posters with cracks and dents are depreciated and this is offset against the customer's returned purchase.

Can I exchange my item?

We do not handle exchanges. If you want to exchange your item(s), it works through our return system. You can return your item within 14 days, after which you can order a new item as usual.

Refund of the purchase amount

In the event that you regret a purchase on byjakob.com, you will have the purchase amount paid to us minus the return label, refunded. This only happens when we have received your sent goods back and this has been reviewed for possible defects or impairments. Cancellations must also be made in writing within 14 days from the time of purchase.

If there is a decrease in value when returning your purchase to byjakob.com, for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount in accordance with our trading conditions.

Return of goods - Address

When returning a purchase, you must send us an email at byjakobphotography@gmail.com with your order details. When customer service has processed your email, we will send you a package label.

The package must be CLEARLY marked "return" and a copy of the purchase invoice must be attached. Also it is required that you send it back in the same package. This includes the cardboard box and the tube that the poster is kept in. If any extra charges comes up because of other dimensions that we were not aware of, you, the customer, are responsible for the costs and it will be deducted from the total amount refunded.

You are responsible for the shipping costs of a return.

REMEMBER: we do not accept parcels without distribution or parcels sent by cash on delivery. Note also that the return form or similar has to be sent to our email before a return is accepted.

Complaint

It happens that a product may well have hidden faults or defects at the time of purchase, which may only become apparent later. If that is the case, you as a customer of byjakob.com can make use of your 2-year right of complaint in accordance with the provisions of the Sales Act regarding the 24-month right of complaint. However, it must be emphasized that the right of complaint does not cover when faults, damages or wear and tear occur due to incorrect use, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. The defect must have been present at the time of purchase and must in no way be due to abuse or other rough handling of the purchase after the time of purchase with documentation such as pictures of the fault. In the case of returning goods, this takes place within 10 working days after correspondence with customer service at byjakobphotography@gmail.com

Purchases made at byjakob.com are made in accordance with Danish law. For any disputes and legal discrepancies are governed by Danish law.
